Counselling and Psychotherapy can enable positive change, personal growth and provide healing and enrichment to our lives. I provide a private, confidential space, where you are free to talk openly. I will listen with empathy and without judgement which will allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely. However, there are times when the therapeutic journey may become difficult and painful as you are more in contact with your thoughts and feelings. I can support you though these times by providing a professional, empathic and safe relationship.

There are a variety of types of counselling and psychotherapy, and it is important to think about which kind may suit your needs (please go to links to find more information about different types of therapy).

I am a relational and integrative therapist. I place great importance upon helping to create a positive and therapeutic relationship in order to facilitate change. I integrate skills, concepts and theories which help me to understand and increase an individual’s contact with themselves and contact in relationship with others. These include theories of human development, unconscious processes, relational trauma and neuroscience.

An important aspect of my practice is to ensure that I work ethically, professionally and safely. I am a qualified therapist who adheres to BACP* and SPTI* ethical codes of practice. I am committed to personal and professional development, and I regularly continue to further my knowledge and understanding in order to provide clients with a quality service.
